If you’re travelling from Newcastle or London, the easiest way to get here is by train to Grantham which is a 15 minute taxi ride from the Chequers. Uber does operate in the area but the best way to guarantee a taxi is to pre-book with Grantham Taxis. 

We don’t know how reliable Uber will be in the evening either, so if you’re staying nearby overnight, we’d advise pre-booking a taxi back to your hotel/tent/burrow. 

If you’re travelling by car, there is plenty of free parking at the Chequers, although Woolsthorpe is a small village so it’s worth arriving a bit earlier to ensure it’s not a complete nightmare getting into the car park.

If you’re travelling from further afield, you’re best off flying into one of the London Airports and taking a direct train from London Kings Cross to Grantham.
